Atal Bihari Vajpayee, former prime minister and statesman left us last year after celebrating 72nd Independence Day of India. Highly revered by all the politicians and people of India, Atal Ji will always stay alive in their hearts.

Today on his death anniversary nation as well as BJP, the political party he created along with Lal Krishan Advani remembering hin. In the morning Current Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Ram Nath Kovind, and Home Minister Amit Shah paid their tribute at the memorial of the former prime minister in Delhi.

As a leader, Atal Bihari Vajpayee despite being the member of BJP, a hardcore right-wing political party of India followed the path of being liberal. His very famous Lahore Yaatra depicts his true nature towards the struggle to maintain peace in the region. He was the only Prime Minister who had face number of attacks including one war but still poised towards peace. During his tenure, he brought many changes in policy and governance. He had always stressed upon resolving the Kashmir issue through dialogue and diplomatically. And today on his death anniversary, Kashmir has again reached to the UN after 50 years.
