Two civilians have been killed and six security personnel are reported injured in a terrorist attack in Tral, about 25 miles south of Srinagar, in Jammu and Kashmir. Minister Naeem Akhtar escaped unhurt in the attack.
The terrorists threw two grenades near a busy bus stand in a crowded area.
“The area has been cordoned off for searches,” an unnamed police said to news agency IANS.
Those injured reportedly include two policemen and two paramilitary personnel.
