Solan Hotel Collapse, 6 Army personnel Lost Life

Solan Himachal Pradesh situated Kumarhatti on Sunday afternoon a building collapsed.

At the time of the accident, 42 people were present in the hotel.

In which 30 were army officers who were stopped there for having lunch.

Recuse team so far have saved 23 lives but sadly 6 personnel and 2 civilians have lost their life.

Seven are still buried down in debris and NDRF team is trying to rescue them. It was CM Jai Ram Thakur who asked NDRF help to expedite the rescue operation

Building owner Sahil Kumar and his family also used to live in the same building.

Fortunately, at the time of the accident, his children were playing outside and didn’t suffer any injury but his wife was present in it and lost her life in an accident.

NDRF team later in the evening around 7 pm reached there on accident site and started rescue operation which is still going on.

solan traffic has severely affected as the building was situated on National highway.

So far traffic police have diverted the route of vehicles coming and going from Shimla as well as Solan from Bradog bypass.

Monday morning around 8 am CM Jai Ram Thakur himself reached there and took cognizance of the entire incident.
