We all love Maggi and enjoy it very much but how fun it would be to make Maggi in chow mein style or Chinese style. It seems like a big task but is not. It is very simple and easy.
Ingredients
- Maggi 2 packets
- Soya sauce
- Ginger garlic paste
- Onions (1) chopped
- Capsicum (1) chopped
- Cabbage (1/4) if available
- Vinegar
- Water
- Red chili sauce
- Oil
- Salt
Steps to make Chinese Maggi
- Add water to a pot, bring it to boil and then add 2 packets of Maggi noodles. Strain after 3-4 minutes
- When noodles are cooked, strain them and oil over top so that they do not bind to each other
- Take a fry pan, add 2 teaspoon oil and add ginger garlic paste and cook for 45 seconds. Heat should be medium to high.
- Now add onions and fry till they become translucent and add half teaspoon of salt
- After onions are translucent add capsicum and cabbage and fry. You can add more oil if needed
- Now after cooking our veggies add Maggi noodles and turn the flame to low
- Add Soya sauce 2 teaspoons, tomato ketchup 2 teaspoon, red chili sauce ½ teaspoon
- And mix thoroughly. After mixing add Maggi masala and again mix thoroughly. You can add a little water
if u want but it’s totally optional
- Serve hot you can sprinkle some coriander on top
Cooking time : 20 – 30 minutes
Serves : 4 people along with a soft drink.
