Neeta and Mishri, the kids of the two most eligible contenders to become the head of their locality, have an air of arrogance around them and their families hold great animosity against each other. In a twist of fate, however, they fall in love with each other and decide to elope.

Another movie with a fun- quirky title is coming our way this April. ‘Golak Bugni Bank Te Batua’ starring Harish Verma and Simi Chahal in lead roles, would be releasing on the 13th of April. The movie is Directed by Ksshitij Chaudhary who has given us movies like Vekh Baraatan Chaliyan and Mr and Mrs 420. The movie is produced by Karaj Gill & Munish Sahni. The story and screenplay is by Dheeraj Rattan. This film’s music & background score is given by Jatinder Shah.

Plot : The plot seems fun. Jaswinder Bhalla, who runs a clothes shop and B.N Sharma, who runs a sweet shop, are rivals and constantly try to pull each other down. The twist comes when Misri (Simi Chahal ), the daughter of B.N Sharma and Netta ( Harish Verma), son of Jaswinder Bhalla, fall in love. They elope and that too on the same historic day when ‘notebandi’ happens. Showing how sudden demonization affected many, including this eloped couple, is what brings in the comic twits to this story. The movie seems to be a satirical take on the real life situation during the days of note ban. Let’s see how the director executes it in the final film.

Starcast: Harish Verma seems to back on the track with back to back films. After his character in Subedar Joginder Singh, he will now be seen in a role that suits him well. He looks promising in the trailer and we are excited to watch him in the movie. After Rabb Da Radio, Simi is making a comeback on the screen with this film. Quite a gap there but she seems to be doing her bit well. We hope this performance of her’s is nowhere close to what she did in her last film.

Veterans like Jaswinder Bhalla, B.N Sharma and Anita Devgan add the much needed humor and taste to this trailer. I am sure they would be the strong pillars of this movie.

Dialogues: The dialogues of the movie are penned by Rakesh Dhawan and Surmeet Maavi. Sems like there will be some rib tickling punches but hope that they won’t be too typical.

Towards the end of the trailer we see Amrinder Gill making his entry and along with him we catch a glimpse of his Angrej co-star Aditi Sharma. The duo has seemingly a part in the flashback sequence.

Now that the film has some good ingredients, we truly hope that the Director has been able to knead it well.
