Vinod Khanna Biography

Vinod Khanna was very popular and well known Indian actor along with best politician and producer. He was also been selected two times as the recipient of Filmfare awards. He also remained as the MP of Gurdaspur region of Punjab from time period of 1998 to 2009 and again in the year from 2014 to 2017 and was considered as very active politician. He was well known as one of the manliest and shining star of the bollywood as well as Indian film screen in seventies and eighties time period. Along with his acting talent, he was also very successful in various other fields like politics. In the year 2002, he was selected as the minister of Culture and Tourism in the cabinet of Atal Bihari Vajpayee and after six months, he then also became the minister of State for external affairs.

He also played lead role in various famous bollywood movies and is still remembered for his performance like Kuchhe Dhaage, Gaddaar, Amar Akbar Anthony, Rajput, The Burning Train etc. In the year 1982, in order to follow his spiritual guru Osho Rajneesh, he temporarily quits from film industry. He was also being awarded highest cinema award Dadasaheb Phalke Award in the year 2018.

He was then suddenly suffered from severe dehydration problem and hospitalized on 2 April 2017 and then suddenly it was also told that he was suffering from bladder cancer too and due to which he died on 27 April 2017. He still remained in the heart of all their fans and well wishers.
