Sreesanth wants to make Kerala the best ‘city’

Sreesanth

Former cricketer Sreesanth who is campaigning for the Bharatiya Janata Party has made a huge mistake, which is going to cost him dear. Sreesanth is getting ready to enter politics and is standing for Assembly candidate from Thiruvananthapuram.

On 17 April, after announcement of his candidature, Sreesanth became active on Twitter and Facebook and in a tweet waxed eloquent on how he wanted to make Kerala the best city.

This was fodder for social media which did not wait long in lapping it up. People, unknown to him, came in and harangued Sreesanth for the error and reminded him that Kerala is a state and not a city.

As if this was not enough, rival and Congress MP Shashi Tharoor ‘advised’ him to do some homework before entering politics.

It may be noted Sreesanth was banned from playing cricket by Board of Control for Cricket in India in 2013 after the disciplinary committee found him guilty of spot fixing.

A social media bug, of late, the former cricketer is busy uploading pictures and tweets about his campaigning. But it seems that Sreesanth still has a long way to go.
