Rajini Krishnan Wins The Second Round Of China Superbike Race

Despite his win the Chennai-based rider will not take part in the next round at ZIC, because its dates clash with his race at Malaysian Superbike Championship

Rajini Krishnan has won the second round of the China Superbike Race that took place at the Zhuhai International Circuit (ZIC), China. He raced in the 1000cc superbike category for the China Kawasaki Team on a stock Ninja. The event is part of the 2016 Pan Delta Super Racing Festival, taking place at the ZIC.

The qualifying lap wasn’t all that great for the Chennai-based racer. Rajini’s bike suffered from the loss of lean angle sensor during the third lap, which restricted him from continuing with the remaining laps.

Speaking of the first race, it did not go well for Rajini as his bike had overheated while he was riding in the second position. Courtesy the same, the motor was unable to attain high revs, which ultimately pushed him to the fourth spot. He was pitched against racers from several counties such as China, Australia, Malaysia, etc.

Despite his win in the second round of the race, Rajini will not take part in the next round, as it is clashing with his dates for the Malaysian Superbike Championship. However, the racer intends to take part in the ZIC race after he is done with his Malaysian Championship.

Speaking of the Malaysian Superbike Championship, Rajini had won the Championship in 2015 and is defending his title this time around. The racer had faced some difficulties in the initial round, but aims at winning the title in the upcoming rounds.
