Pakistan’s women players are Virat Kohli fans

While Sana Mir picks M.S. Dhoni as her most favourite Indian cricketer for his leadership, the rest of the Pakistan women’s team are ardent fans of Virat Kohli.

“If I just talk about my players, I think Virat would be the most favourite. If I talk personally, it’s Dhoni. The way he leads India and the way he carries himself on and off the field. He is a wonderful leader,” said Sana.

But it was Waqar Younis who inspired Sana to take up cricket. “He was the reason why I started off as a fast bowler. I had a serious back injury in 2006 and based on doctor’s advice I turned to spin. The amount of street cricket I played helped evolve as a spinner,” she added.
