Kullu Manali, On Saturday, while doing paragliding from Solang Nala, a glider lost balance and fall into the cliff. A Hyderabad based doctor who was travelling in Himachal Pradesh become a victim of this mishap. According to media reports and authorities of Kullu Manali, his name is Dr Chandra Shekar who was working as a physiotherapist at a hospital in Hyderabad.
An accident happens because the operator of the glider suffered a fracture. His sister Uma Maheshwari told the media that his brother was immediately shifted to the local hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
She has also demanded the Himachal government to provide means to take his mortal remains to Hyderabad. And also some amount as compensation because he was the only member of their family who is earning.
Nowadays the culture of wandering and exploring different adventurous sports are growing these types of accidents are surfacing now and then. Himachal government has mandatory to carry GPRS device while doing trekking on mountains.
A few months back many incidents have taken place where trekkers stranded in the deep forest due to change in weather instantly.
Government is also considering ways of regulating these adventurous sports facilitating companies and businessmen.
