Hyundai Creta S+ diesel AT variant priced at Rs 13.56 lakh

Hyundai is now offering a lower variant of the Creta diesel AT. This is the S+ variant and it is priced at Rs 13.56 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and Rs 1.06 lakh lesser than the top-of-the-line SX+ diesel AT variant. The model was made live on Hyundai’s official website two months ago but without pricing.

The car is now available for booking in all the major metro cities but commands a two month waiting period. It is priced at Rs 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom Kolkata), Rs 14.27 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai), Rs 13.78 lakh (ex-showroom Chennai) and Rs 13.76 lakh (ex-showroom Bengaluru).

The engine powering this model is a 1.6-litre four-cylinder unit producing 126bhp/256Nm of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels via a six-speed AT. As compared to the SX model this loses out on features like the cruise control, touchscreen system, leather seats and voice controlled navigation package.

It competes with the likes of the Renault Duster 110PS AMT variant which is priced at Rs 13.13 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
