Veteran actress Hema Malini on April 28 congratulated Deepika on her engagement, which took everyone by surprise.

Hema Malini wrote, “Deepika, All good wishes on ur engagement! Pray God both of u have a bright future, happiness & joy in ur life together.”

The fans and her followers were shocked to know that Deepika, who is currently shooting for her upcoming debut Hollywood film ‘xXx: The Return of Xander Cage’ abroad with Vin Diesel has got engaged, and to whom?

As soon as fans started questioning about the same, pat came Hema Malini’s reply clarifying that it is not Ms Padukone, but someone named Deepika who follows her on Twitter.

Deepika Padukone is rumoured to be dating her ‘Bajirao Mastani’ co-actor Ranveer Singh and is currently in Canada with the cast and crew of xXx including Ruby Rose, Vin Diesel, Nina Dobrev shooting for their film.

She was recently seen teaching Ruby Rose some Bollywood moves in a video posted on social networking site by the latter.
