Gauri Khan launches designer collection

Fashion label Satya Paul is collaborating with Gauri Khan again to come up with a sensuous collection that’s inspired by Dutch courtesan Mata Hari.

The latest designs comprise seductive rose petal prints in a vintage colour palette and body art motifs with scripts and scribbles of Mata Hari’s mysterious letters, printed playfully on the saris and wraps. With contrasting elements like lace prints with animal motifs and ornamentation with modern colourful brush strokes, this collection is a unique blend of traditional and futuristic designs. Gauri Khan’s effortless and graceful style has translated into fluid, leisurely separates that ease movement.

The collection offers modern silhouettes with mesh-inserted sheer shirts for evening cocktails to asymmetric long tunics for day outs.
