Amazon Fire, Kashmir to be highlighted

G7-summit France

G7 Summit is going on at the host country France at Biarritz this year amid various issues especially Amazon Fire. G7 is a group of seven countries which includes the USA, England, France, Germany, Canada, Italy and Japan. It is basically an intergovernmental organization of the seven largest economies of the world. IMF (International Monetary Fund) is the organization which has declared them as world-leading economies.

Founded in the year 1975 officially was conceptualized in the year 1973 before the oil crisis. The USA played a major role in forming an organized group. Also, its first summit held in France, at that time there were only 6 members in this group. Later in 1977 after the formal invitation of joining the group, Canada becomes its seventh official member.

In the following years, Russia first becomes an observer and later becomes the full participant of the group (G8). However, in 2014 Russia was excluded because of the annexation of Crimea by Russia.

This year in 2019 for the first time G7 members have officially invited India for the first time. Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with several other world leaders is present in France discussing many issues. Climate change is the main issue on which leaders are going to stress.


At G7 Summit PM Modi firmly said at the forum that Kashmir issue India Pakistan faces is bilateral and need no intervention, the stated in the presence of President Trump.
