Fatehveer Brought Dead declared by PGI – RIP

District Sangrur Punjab in the morning NDRF Team completed its rescue operation of 2 years old boy Fatehveer Singh. He had fallen 150 feet down in borewell on the 6th of June at around 4 pm.

The boy was rescued this morning around 5 o’clock after 100+ hours from the same borewell by desi technique(not from the parallel bore well). After that, he was taken to PGI Chandigarh where doctors declared him brought dead.
Yesterday was his birthday and the people of Sangrur were very hopeful. Along with NDRF team, local authorities and people of his native village also took part in rescue operation very enthusiastically. His grandfather is in a deep shock state.

This case came into limelight when social media campaigns and live rescue operation footage started coming from Sangrur on YouTube and other various social media platforms.

Capt. Amarinder Singh has also tweeted on this tragic incident and shared his deep condolence with the family.

But the main point is who is responsible?

– Lack of modern equipments or experts?
– Government of Punjab?
