Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali Atta Noodles launched, to cost Rs 15

Yog Guru Baba Ramdev has launched much-awaited Patanjali Atta Noodles on Monday.

Ramdev’s Patanjali Atta noodles would cost Rs 15. The catchline of the Patanjali noodles is “Jhat pat banao, aur befikr khao”.

While launching his noodles the Yog Guru said his noodle is better than other noodles. He said the Income from Patanjali ‘aata noodles’ will go towards the education of underprivileged children.

Ramdev announced that Patanjali will soon introduce baby food in the market.

With this launch Ramdev eyes to capture the market lost by Maggi, after the latter had to go off the shelves following regulatory orders.

Maggi noodles, which were being sold by Swiss giant Nestle with a catchline of ‘two-minute’ noodles had to be taken off the shelves after food regulator FSSAI found excess lead and taste enhancer MSG despite ‘No MSG’ labeling.

These findings were later challenged by the company before the Bombay High Court, which quashed those orders and ordered fresh tests.

Nestle India’s instant noodles Maggi has made a comeback last week after the company was banned from selling the product in India.
