Akshay Kumar’s Ikka to go On-floors in August

Last time when we met Akshay Kumar, he had told us that talks with A.R. Murugadoss have been going on and they would soon announce their second collaboration Ikka and details of the shoot schedule too.

Now it seems, the actor, who is busy with Robot 2, Housefull 3, Namastey England and Rustom, has finally sorted his dates.

According to a report in a tabloid, Akshay will begin shooting for the Hindi remake of Kaththi after Rustom releases. In the film, Akshay will play a double role, one of a thug and other of a post-graduate. A source informed the tabloid, “Murugadoss is presently re-scripting the film to fit a more North Indian set-up but Akshay will be seen in a double role.”

Ikka will go on-floors in August and it will be a start-to-finish two-month schedule. The film will travel through Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai and Bangkok, but will be filmed entirely in Chennai.
