Akshay Kumar shoots additional song for Airlift on Sunday

The upcoming movie “Airlift” starring Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur has wrapped up it’s shooting with a romantic song titled “Soch”. This film clearly explains, a man, who is from India helps Indian government in order to move the victims to their homes safely. It was also heard that this song was shot on Sunday.

And yet, director Raja Krishna Menon conceived a prelude where Akshay sings a song during a get-together. They shot it not as an after-thought but because it fits into the plot.

The film directed by first-timer Raja Krishna Menon is about a real-life Indian businessman’s efforts to rescue stranded Indians in Kuwait during the time of Saddam’s attack. It’s a tense film but there are songs and they don’t bring the film’s tension. It reminded him of the scenes he had shot recently in Airlift, the film about rescue operations in Kuwait after Saddam Hussain’s attack.

Fans will see Nimrat Kaur and Akshay romancing each other in a rain-soaked romantic love song from Airlift, which will be releasing soon. Releasing on January 22, 2016, the film revolves around the true events that chronicled during the evacuation of Indians strangled in Kuwait during the Iraq-Kuwait war in 90’s.
