Aadhaar Biometric All Set to Make Air Travel Paperless

The State Minister of the Civil Aviation has shared their future plans to go for introducing the “Unique Digital Identification requirement at the time when you are booking your air tickets. As, we already have to take an original or a photocopy identity proof while travelling by air but now, a Unique Identification like Pan card and Aadhaar card is decided to proposed for all the air travelling passengers. The air transport IT and communications service provider along with this, all the Indian Airports is all set to take some important in order to help Indian People to make all the air travels fully bio-metric.

They are also thinking to solve various problems related to baggage issues for all the passengers. All the airports will start getting different real time information over the status of the baggage of the passengers. This will then very helpful in reducing the issues related to baggage mishandling. Under this initiative, the Aadhaar card will be then made very necessary but also result in making a choosing option between the various other identities which are made digitally. They are thinking to link the identification cards and the passports to the various databases related to airlines in order to make sure to give a very secure and seamless experience during your travel. They wanted to include the smart technology to all the airports and its related working to make the air travelling procedure faster and traffic free.
