1. Kathgarh Temple

Shahpur Kandi Fort is located around 6km from Pathankot and has many small monuments inside that are worth checking out including a mosque and tombs.

3. Mukteshwar Temple

Muketeshwar Temple is a popular religious establishment in Pathankot that’s located on the Shahpur Kandi Dam roadwhere another popular spot Shahpurkandi Fort is also located. It houses the idols of Lord Vishnu, Lord Ganesha, Lord Hanuman, Lord Bramha, and Goddess Parvati. There are also many caves here that date to the time of Mahabharata, and a marble Shivalinga with a copper Yoni which gives an insight into ancient Indian history.

You can visit Muketeshwar Temple at any time of the year. However, it’s better to visit it in April as at this time, a fair called Mukesran Da Mela is held here which marks the beginning of Baisakhi festival.

4. Ranjit Sagar Dam

Also known as Thein Dam, the Ranjit Sagar Dam was built by the government of Punjab as a part of the hydroelectric project. It’s located on the Ravi river and offers a pleasant atmosphere complete with a natural lake that exists behind the dam. You can come here to spend some quality alone or with family, read a book or two, or play casino games on platforms like LeoVegas to enjoy and earn money at the same time.

5. Maharana Pratap Sagar

If you want to engage in water sports, then you can visit Maharana Pratap Sagar which is a popular reservoir located at a short distance from Pathankot City. Covering a massive area of 45,000 hectares, it offers some of the most thrilling activities for you to enjoy, especially water skiing in which you get to skim the surface of water as a motorboat pulls you around.
