The Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime (Review) was launched alongside the Xiaomi Redmi 3S in India earlier this month, and the two phones are the first Xiaomi phones whose entire stock will be ‘Made in India’, the company told Gadgets 360. Xiaomi also said the Redmi 3S, priced at Rs. 6,999, will go on sale a week after the Redmi 3S Prime.

The Redmi 3S Prime bears a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. The rear camera features PDAF (phase detection autofocus), an f/2.0 aperture, and LED flash.
The smartphone supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 128GB). Specifically, the Redmi 3S Prime sports a hybrid dual-SIM (Micro-SIM + Nano-SIM) slot with the second SIM slot also capable of functioning as a microSD slot.
As for connectivity, the Redmi 3S Prime supports options 4G, Wi-Fi, GPRS/ EDGE, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth, Glonass, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and Micro-USB. It bears a 4100mAh battery, and measures 139.3×69.6×8.5mm.
