The Telangana government is planning to invite spiritual leader Dalai Lama for the inauguration of ‘Buddha Vanam’ (Buddha garden) project in the city.
K T Rama Rao, IT and Panchayat Raj Minister said this during a meeting with an official of Dalai Lama Centre for Ethics and Transformative values from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), a state government release said.
A new facility of the Dalai Lama Centre is proposed to be set up in Hyderabad, the release said.
