She’s gorgeous, funny and extremely bubbly. Sumona Chakravarti is someone any guy would like to marry. The lady is making news with reports of her upcoming marriage with Samrat Mukherjee doing the rounds. However, the actress denied it saying that marriage is nowhere on her mind right now. She said that she is used to such stories as they had circulated in the past as well. Sumona is better known as Manju from Comedy Nights with Kapil.
Well, Samrat and Sumona apparently meet once year during the Durga Puja celebrations organized in Santacruz by the Mukherjee family. It is a starry affair with Kajol, Rani Mukerji, Sharbani Mukherjee, Mika and many other celebs in attendance.
Samrat Mukherjee is Kajol’s cousin. He is an actor and works prominently in Bengali films. One of the prominent Hindi films done by him is Ashutosh Gowarikar’s Khelenge Hum Jee Jaan Se. He is 11 years younger to Samrat.
Sumona is a regular at the Durga Puja celebrations held in Santacruz and is seen bonding with Samrat and his sisters, especially Sharbani.
It has been marriage season in the TV season from December. In January, Sanaya Irani got hitched to Mohit Sehgal. A few days back, we got the news of Jaswir Kaur getting married to Vishal Madlani.
