Philippine beauty Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach is officially a worldwide star after being hailed as Miss Universe 2015. Celebrity gossip site TMZ recently spotted the 26-year-old Filipina strolling at Columbus Circle in New York on Friday, Dec. 25, and took the chance to snap a photo of the beauty queen “on the downlow.”
“No crown in sight as Miss Philippines strolled undercover. And no evidence she was being tailed by Miss Columbia, or her posse,” says TMZ in their Saturday post.
Donned in plain wardrobe with running shoes, a cap, and earphones on, Wurtzbach resumes her life minus the glitz and glamour of the prestigious pageant. However, the now-reigning Miss Universe will stay in New York City to continue her duties tied with her new title.
Amid the Yuletide celebrations at NYC, Wurtzbach didn’t forget to express her gratitude to fans and greet the Philippines a Merry Christmas as she continuously updates everyone through her personal Instagram account and through the official Miss Universe social media handles.
