The Nadigar Sangam or South Indian Artistes’ Association is gearing up to raise funds for building their new office. Actor Vishal who is the General Secretary of the Nadigar Sangam told media that in order to raise funds they were planning to have a star cricket match. The cricket match will also see Superstar Rajinikanth and Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan be part of the event, he stated. The cricket match has been set for April 10.
Vishal also stated that the Nadigar Sangam at this point had Rs 48 lakh cash and had raised about Rs 2 crore by way of loans to get back the land and settle the lease agreement with SPI Cinemas.They now want to conduct a star cricket match so that they can raise funds for the construction of the building.
The actor added that the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa will be invited to lay the foundation stone for the building when they had finalised all aspects.
