After garnering thousands of orders via its hugely successful flash sales, LeEco has set yet another record. The Chinese electronics giant that recently set foot in India managed to sell 2,00,000 LeEco smartphone in less than 30 days. This is an achievement for a brand that was until a few months ago, relatively unknown in India.
The company has been taking some big strides with its flash sales for Le 1s and Le Max smartphones and is banking on quality and cloud. “The Superphones are powered by our string ecosystem of multiple devices, content, cloud and platform. The incredible response from our consumers is very humbling and it re-affirms that our proposition of breakthrough technology, comprehensive ecosystem and sustainable disruptive pricing is being well received by our consumers,”said Atul Jain, COO, Smart Electronic Devices, LeEco India.
LeEco, formerly known as Letv in China broke plenty of sales records with its flash sale of the Le 1s smartphone. The Le 1s budget smartphone that we reviewed recently, received record breaking cumulative 20,28,000 registrations across its three flash sales. A number that LeEco claims is a highest number in the smartphone industry ever.
Another record that the company broke was with highest numbers of orders placed in the shortest time. This was again possible thanks to the Le 1s that saw 2,20,000 total orders within the shortest time of 31 seconds in the 3 flash sales.
The company recently organised LeEco Day, a shopping carnival in India that received an incredible response from consumers. The Le 1s which was first introduced in the gold option is now also available in silver.
