In a tragic incident, a 4-year-old girl died as her head got stuck in the doors of elevator at her school on Tuesday.
According to reports, the nursery student accidentally got stuck in the elevator of her school, situated in Dilsukh Nagar area.
As per the school administration, the girl was inside the lift with other students and school staff when she accidentally got stuck between the doors, and suffered serious injuries. She died on the way to hospital.
DCP, Dilsukh Nagar said the police is investigating the incident and will take appropriate action against the school administration if any negligence is found on their part.
Meanwhile, angry parents and local residents are protesting outside the school demanding strict action against the school.
