Automatic Refund of Money after Cancellation of Train

The Indian government is now thinking about bringing some changes within railway services in order to remove the involvement of the various agents in the process. In order to give a quite big relief to various passengers, the Railway of India has finally announced that if your train has been cancelled completely due to any reason from the beginning station to the ending station then your booked tickets will be cancelled automatically and the amount paid will also be refunded in your respective accounts through which you have made your bookings. According to the latest news from IRCTC, the PNR of the all passenger will be cancelled automatically and also the different refunds need to process will be done within the same account through which payment was made.

The government of India has now officially announced that all the passengers can claim for their refunds if any particular train does not depart at the desired scheduling time of departure. One more case can be applicable for the refunds i.e. if the route of the train is being completely diverted and the passenger does not wanted to go through that route. The Minister of State for Railways has announced that they are preparing to start some measures in order to strengthen the Railway Online Reservation Service which also includes the Tatkal scheme. Now, in order to have advance reservations, one needs to go for making their bookings up to 120 days in advance by excluding the date of journey at the origin of the train. Almost a total of about six tickets can be booked totally in one month from single user ID and 12 tickets if the user is completely verified though Aadhaar card. This is to be done to prevent booking of so many tickets in short time period and giving the different passengers enough time to book tickets for them.
