The government has extended recently the final deadline regarding obtaining Aadhaar Card in order to avail government schemes by about three months. According to the latest news, the government has made it very mandatory in order to link aadhaar card with your bank accounts, permanent account numbers (PAN), income tax return (ITR), social security schemes and even your mobile phones and sim cards. If any person is not having the 12 digits which is a unique identification number (UIN) which is issued by a special authority of India named as Unique Identification Authority of India., everyone has to make it according to the order to get all the facilities provided in the order. The government has not extended the last date to link your aadhaar card till three months up to 31 December.
The extension of date is however, applied for those who have not yet linked their aadhaar card, a new order is now issued by The Ministry of Electronics and Information technology said. As there are 135 schemes available in our India which might includes giving free cooking gas to poor women (LPG), subsidy of kerosene and fertilizer, targeted public distribution system, MGNAREGA (Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act) will be finally cover up by the extension. Whether it is related to linking of aadhaar card to accounts or to sim cards, there are now available separate different deadlines for each case.

• Deadline for linking aadhaar card to your PAN for tax returns till 31 December, 2017
In the month of august, The Central Board of Direct Taxes finally extended the last date in order to link your aadhaar card with your PAN card for helping taxpayers. The new decided deadline is 31 December, The old deadline which is decided was 31 of August. This process is carried out in all over India in order to process the ITRs for making assessment for the year 2017-18. If you skipped this linking, the return will then be considered as invalid and the the person will asked to file ti again which then considered as belated and might also include penalty, interest and many other consequences.
• Deadline to Link your Aadhaar Card with your Mobile Sim
The different telecom companies of India like Bharti Airtel, Vodafone and Idea all have been sending alerts to all people or customers about informing them to complete their Aadhaar Sim linking process. According to the government directive, this process is mandatory for all the prepaid and post-paid customers. This verification is done only once for every mobile number and according to the Government orders, it is very important that the process E-KYC re-verification needs to be completed before the due date which is 6 Feb 2018 by all the telecom operators of India.
• Deadline for submitting details to banks and social security schemes
All the existing bank account holders are asked to furnish their aadhaar cards issued by the UIDAI up to 31 December 2017 and the person who fails makes their account to cease to be operational according to the notification received from the revenue department. In order to get pensions, LPG cylinders or other government scholarships, one must have to give their complete aadhaar card details to complete the linking process.
