Jackie Chan arrived in Jaipur early Tuesday morning to shoot his upcoming film ‘Kung Fu Yoga’ at Mansingh Palace, Amber Fort. Though shooting began early in the morning Chan, shot his scenes in the afternoon, as he was resting for a few hours in his hotel.
Since cars aren’t allowed at the Fort during the elephant safari, which was at the same time Chan was to reach the sets, he had to walk 3km to get to the venue. As soon as Chan arrived, he sat with director Stanley Tong to discuss a few scenes.
Amyra Dastur, who is making her Hollywood debut with this film, was seen shooting some action sequences along with co-star Li Zi Long, in a market set-up that the unit had created.
Fans who had been waiting for hours to catch a glimpse of their favourite star were left disappointed, as they weren’t allowed to enter the area. According to one of the crew members, the cast will shoot in Amber Fort till March 25, after which they will shoot at the City Palace from March 26-28. The crew will then fly down to Jodhpur on March 29, where they will be shooting a dance number at Umaid Bhawan Palace. Sonu Sood and Farah Khan will join the cast in Jodhpur.
