The weekend always seems to fly by quickly while weekdays often seem to drag on. Monday morning blues affect people around the globe, across caste, creed, age or nationality. Dragging yourself to work after a relaxed weekend seems like an uphill task and you wish you could turn back time.
Here are some ways to beat those Monday morning blues…
– Keep those drinking sessions for Saturday night. The last thing you want to do is start your week with a massive hangover.
– Wake up slightly early than your usual wake-up time. This is because you might to be a little slow after the relaxed pace of the weekend and waking up a little early will allow you to complete your morning tasks in time before you head to work.
– Allow yourself a little treat every Monday. It could be a nice lunch or a quick session at the salon. Anything that makes you happy will work wonders for your mood.
– Plan something for the next weekend! Planning ahead makes you look forward to the next weekend (or the weekend after that) and can instantly cheer you up.
– Another effective thing is to plan the rest of your week. When you’re organised and list down your activities, chores and errands to be completed, you will feel better equipped to go through the week.
