Delhi govt to announce phase two of odd even scheme today

phase two of odd even scheme

The Delhi government will today hold a review meeting to decide on logistics of the second phase of the odd-even scheme in the national capital.

The state government had sought public opinion via e-mail helpline and online and that data will also be released.

Government sources claim that they received more than 1,82,000 missed calls on the Odd-even helpline number.

More than 28,300 suggestions were received online, along with 9,000 emails.

The transport department sources claim that they made 10 lakh calls to people across Delhi to seek their opinion on the Odd-Even scheme.

Kejriwal is also expected to review the decision in the meeting with all the concerned departments. The government will also make the data public.

The list of exemptions during the scheme will also be discussed.

However, government sources claim that two-wheelers would remain exempted even during the next round of Odd-Even scheme, as enough public transport infrastructure is not available in the national capital.
