Sonam Kapoor, who was last seen opposite Salman Khan in Sooraj Barjatya’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, will next be seen as Neerja Bhanot in her upcoming film. Sonam Kapoor took to micro-blogging site Twitter to unveil the teaser’s release date of her upcoming film and thanked Shah Rukh Khan for giving the film such a platform.

The film is a biopic based on the life of an air hostess Neerja Bhanot who gave up her life trying to save the lives of hijacked passengers on PanAm flight in Karachi in 1986.
Vijay Singh, CEO, Fox Star Studios, had earlier said, “Neerja is one of the unsung heroes of India whose story should be an inspiration for everyone. We will be releasing Neerja on Feb 19 for the people the world over to know and celebrate the story of a 23-year-old girl who found courage and self-sacrifice in an extraordinary moment in her life.”
Reportedly, there may be two more trailers which will be attached with Rohit Shetty’s film. Trailer of Yami Gautam and Pulkit Samrat’s film Sanam Re and Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapur’s Fitoor may also be revealed with the release of Dilwale. However, there is no confirmation for the same as of now.
On the other hand, Shah Rukh and Kajol’s Dilwale will also be clashing with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s film Bajirao Mastani. Dilwale is set to hit the screens on December 18 this year.
