It is that time of the year when Salman Khan dominates our small screens with one of the biggest reality shows in the country. As 14 celebrities get locked for more than 100 days inside the Bigg Boss house, things are going to get really interesting for the coming three months.
Salman Khan dons the cap of the host once again and the opening night was a glittering affair complete with sizzling performances, some guffaws and expected twists.
From real life couples Kishwer Merchantt and Suyyash Rai and Rochelle Rao and Keith Sequeira to former couple Roopal Tyagi and Ankit Gera, singers Arvind Vegda to TV actor Aman Verma and film actress Rimi Sen, this year’s contestants are an interesting mix. But the contestant who made the maximum impact on the first day was reality show winner Prince Narula. The Chandigarh boy have got rejected by most female contestants as partners in the house, but Narula won more fans on social media with his honest approach.
Salman Khan was his usual energetic self and gave a warm welcome to all the contestants, some of whom have worked with him in the past. This year, the theme of the show is ‘Double Trouble’ and all the contestants have been paired up. Some have had the option to choose their partners, some have not been that fortunate. For the time being, the contestants would have to perform tasks and move around the house in pairs. Will that create friction or friendship? That’s something that we will have to wait and watch.
