2018 is a promising year for Punjabi cinema. Whilst they are still struggling to get a hold on Indian market beyond the NCR, Pollywood movies are getting some real attention globally. Carry On Jatta 2, that released earlier last month, has made some serious bucks in USA, Canada and Australia. Now, it looks like ‘Vadhayiyaan Ji Vadhayiyaan’ is set to make some global collection records as well.

According to some reports, Vadhayiyaan Ji Vadhayiyaan has bagged as many as 49 screens in Australia, making it the biggest Punjabi release in the Kangaroo-nation ever. The worldwide distribution of the film is being helmed by Munish Sahni’s Omjee Group. This is no small feat for the distributors to earn screens in the foreign land.

Vadhayiyaan Ji Vadhayiyaan is set to release on 13th July and stars Binnu Dhillon and Kavita Kaushik in the leading role. The comedy caper also has a stellar ensemble including Jaswinder Bhalla, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Karamjit Anmol, B.N. Sharma and Upasna Singh. It is directed by the Carry On Jatta 2-fame director Smeep Kang.

The movie is a joint production of A&A Advisors (Amit Bhalla and Atul Bhalla) and Naughty Men Productions (Binnu Dhillon). The story of the comedy caper is written by Vaibhav Suman and Shreya Srivastava. The dialogues have been penned down by Rakesh Dhawan.

This will be the second time Binnu Dhillon will be seen romancing Kavita Kaushik on the silver screen after Vekh Barataan Challiyan. The film also marks the return of the famous four of comedy industry Binnu Dhillon, Jaswinder Bhalla, Gurpreet Ghuggi and Karamjit Anmol, after Carry On Jatta 2, Carry On Jatta, Jatts in Golmaal, Lucky Di Unlucky Story, et al.

The first song from the film, Akh Lad Gayi, has already released under the White Hill Music label and winning hearts. Well, from the colours and emotions in the song, we are sure the movie is definitely going to be a blockbuster, nationally as well as internationally.
