Sachin Tendulkar Hosts AR Rahman for ‘Dil Se’ Lunch

His shots reverberated around the world as loudly as his magical musical notes do. Little wonder then that it was an afternoon to remember for both Sachin Tendulkar and AR Rahman when the former cricketer hosted the renowned composer at his home last weekend.

Tendulkar invited Rahman for lunch at his place and posted a photograph with the Academy Award and two-time Grammy winner. “Met the music maestro A.R. Rahman over the weekend. Enjoyed hosting him for lunch at home with some chat – Dil se!!” he wrote.

It may have been a little difficult to judge who was a bigger fan as Tendulkar is known to be an avid lover of Indian music. Rahman too has, on several occasions, praised the legendary cricketer for his on-field achievements. The two together command a humungous fan base and their rendezvous will surely leave them in mesmerized awe.
